Maverick experience(Pt2) August 21, 2008

 

I finally received all the pictures. yea to technology but boo to procrastination.

4pm(Check in)

Reached the “5 star hotel”

Got to know who were our room-mate and it was off to place our barang barangs!

Not bad eh. (FOC of course not bad la)

Siva was my lucky room-mate,

Anyway we were unpacking our stuff when there was one knock on the door.

Josh and Terry came in,

Then another knock

Isman and Samson came in,

Pretty soon my room became a rendezvous point.

Chinese cuisine at Xin-Shan Long

Food was alrite, sort of like the zhe char stall at the local eateries.

Thats the advisor of the club which I “stepped down” from prematurely.

Sorta awkward but at least we had something to chat about.

 After dinner, we headed down to “The bar” for some drinks.

The next day list of event was  flight planning, ground marshallings and flying.

With that being said, alcoholic drink was a no no.

I ordered a Shirley Temple anyway
