Very very belated birthday post for selina September 21, 2008

Haven been blogging for a while and since I got abit of time now before heading out, I’ll do a coverage of selina’s birthday.

 

To celebrate her becoming less young, her family booked the entire restaraunt for her party.

Me and Ganesh volunteered to be free wage labour for a day climbing ladders and fixing decos, okay la we were treated to a cup of fruit punch each

What we were given:

-Garlands of various color

-One set of happy birthday “banner”

-Some helium balloons which I think suffered from erectile dysfunctional 

 

 

We tried our best to visualize what a girl’s 21st birthday party would look like but I have no idea why it ended up looking more like a 16 year old birthday party.

 

Lousy decorations aside, the restaurant original decorations more then adequate so it was alrite(we though)

Right smack in the premises of bishan park it was somewhat classy yet had a tinge of “el natural” .

 

 

 Me and Naga were suppose to be the guestbook’s receptionist but after 30 minutes or so we ran in to grab dinner. HAHA so much for job satisfaction!

And thanks for telling your mum that I said she was busty

Fuck! sitting throught that 5 mins in front of everyone with your mum telling me how lucky it is that all the females in your family and older generations were all blessed with big assets

That was the the weirdest 5 mins of my life

 

 

Few day later we got a treat from selina’s family.

The Vines seafood and steak restaurant down at novena.

After being seated we were presented with the menu which had me oohing and ahhing for a few minutes.

Was comtemplating between steaks and seafood platter when I saw the perfect solution.

 

 Mix grilled combo!

Lamb chop

Beef steak

Chicken chop

Grilled prawn

Grilled salmon

Baked potato with generous serving of mayonise and bacon

 

its always good to help a friend out, One who knows her food well..
